Victor Barnes, M.D. is a graduate of Eastern Carolina University Brody School of Medicine. Dr. Barnes holds board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and also from the American Society of Addiction Medicine and from the American Board of Addiction Medicine. He is affiliated with the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law and American Board of Forensic Examiners. He is certified as an electroencephalography biofeedback provider. Dr. Barnes has extensive clinical experiences with the complex assessment and treatment of active duty and retired military patients. He has additional experience providing psychiatry rotation training to medical residents. He is a recognized speaker and instructor on military mental health topics with emphasis on PTSD and traumatic brain injury.
